My Bridesmaids' Makeup Artist

There are so many wonderful people that I'd like to be a part of the wedding. But between both our families and our friends, if we included everyone it'd be more stressful than celebratory and that's my biggest fear. I don't want this excitement to turn into a chore for anyone and I don't want our wedding to be something we "just want to get over with."

We purposely decided to have a small  bridal party, because it'd be just too easy to keep adding to the lines. So instead, I'm finding ways to include some of my favorite people. I want to include the people that, when I close my eyes I imagine them beside me, throughout the next year of festivities and on that big day. For example, Brooke. Through ups and downs, & months of silence without being able to catch up, I want her there with me.

So in hopes that she'd say yes. I busted out my quill pen, ink and handmade stationary to write and send her a little note.

"Their faces are the canvas....the makeup is the paint.
Will you do us a favor... on our wedding date?
Their lips need gloss, their eyebrows plucked.
Will you help out my bridesmaids & do their makeup?"

She said yes.
